Technology in Chronos
If you think Chronos is a medieval, middle-earth or old style fantasy you sir- or madam are very wrong. I know a lot of people are turned off to fantasy stories because of the lack of modern technology so allow me to introduce to you what it really is. Thank to those that asked questions, if you want to ask anything else after reading this please drop me an ask.

Love your writing. Your thought process and imagination are so very interesting. You put the capital "C" in creative writing. Did you always write this well?
Thanks, though Ive been told I’m rambly. I guess that is what happens to somebody like myself that was a big fan of Tolkein…and then suddenly I stopped reading books like I used to and my witing lost its luster. I still like to write on occasion though, though I lack the refined skill I feel like I have a writers mentality. Somebody who yearns to share thoughts and ideas, that ideas never stop flowing from my brainspace and need a place to go.
MAGIC!
This occurred to me, that when people add in magic to a world that there is a lot of ambiguous factors that get paved over with the concept of OMG MAGIC. So this, is the disambiguation post, however if I feel like I didn’t cover something please feel free to drop me an ask.
Below the cut I will go over firstly what it would be like from the perspective of a world without magic to one that does. Can you simply wave your hands one day and SUDDENLY magic? Read more to find out. Also I’ll go over different types, uses, and then continue down the steps of development of somebody starting out from square one to becoming a archmage. I know I haven’t touched on The Door much either so I will below.

Just started on looking at your and others art. This is a wonderful story. Where do you get your inspiration?
Oh thank you! A lot of my story building comes from years of DnD and generally being a huge fantasy nerd ahaha. I always liked looking into fantasy stories and getting the idea of how they breath and function, especially for playing a DM. Eventually when I stopped playing so much I started to let thing develop on their own and Chronos happened. Its basically a place were I pile all of my inspiration into a new form.

Rarely do I lift the pen to write to on such an informal occasion, but I as of late life here has been somewhat mediocre. I had much more to concern myself with in Hetherev then here in my own world. Dare I say, that I actually wish for someone like you to…To my blue friend,
How lovely to hear from you again, Cerul! I am both humbled and honored to know that you have taken time out of your busy schedule to personally pen a letter to yours truly. Imagine my surprise when I found the envelope suddenly resting atop my head this morning. I must say, whatever method of delivery you chose to use, it’s really spot on. I will try my best to send one in return, although with my luck you may find this note in your afternoon tea.
Let’s see, where do I begin? I will attempt to keep my reply brief in hopes that it will not be too taxing to read, as I know that you must have very little time to spare between all of the napping and eating you do. Perhaps one of your supplicants can read it aloud, although I very much doubt that it will sound anywhere near as charming without my accent. Oh, well.
Since my return, Eveline and I have temporarily moved out of my family’s estate to enjoy some time to ourselves and quietly re-marry. You see, there was a evidently a great deal of speculation surrounding my long absence, and as I’m sure you must know, people love to fill in the blanks with the most impossible and absurd reasons for what may have happened. Some even believed I ran off with a pack of werewolves! I can gladly say that here in the mountains we can finally get some peace from all of that rubbish, and my non-existent spice garden is doing swimmingly, thank you.
It’s wonderful to hear that your world is observing some peace as well, and you didn’t even need to eat anyone. Tell me, what does the guild think of the peculiarities of Hetherev?
I could fill pages with the progress that has been made in my line of expertise, but as it stands, I don’t even know if this will reach you. Another time, perhaps.

I don’t find it surprising that you are enjoying your return. Perhaps the life of the academy was a bit too stressful for you. Understandable… it is a taxing profession to a mortal, as you probably feel the need to procreate and tend to your quaint houses outweighing the need to progress in other endeavors. You would be glad to know that I do not miss out on sleep and appetite. Even without moderation I am able to keep up appearances non-the-less, however I don’t mean to boast at my, never aging, immortal human coil.
I was quite confident in the letter reaching you, but it helps to have reassurance. The Mages Guild feels like the lack of turmoil in such a world like Hetherev might have been because of the restrictions of magic, or that magic had faded because it was not needed. That would surely make sense after seeing the changes occur after we had stirred up unnecessary problems. Also take note that by we, I mean mostly you, but do not fret as I seemed to have mended those issues before we left. No accreditation necessary.
Its good to see that you and your wife are re-marrying. I do understand that it is a joyous occasion for human beings to experience such things. She must be a respectable woman to have put up with you for a second term, but I admit that even I find it easy to put up with your flaws for an unknown reason. I do hope that being in a relationship again will not completely take away from your hobbies of drinking and smoking. Although you could always just loosely use the word ‘recreational’ to describe such activities as you have before.
It seems that everything is going well, that is good to hear.

Dare I say, that I actually wish for someone like you to come around and rearrange my progress so that I may correct it again, Lazuli is far more thorough in his endeavors to make up for his abhorrent social skills with an entertaining personality. That being said, I did find you somewhat ‘entertaining’, and I feel that is a suitable compliment to yourself, yes?
I do hope this message gets to you, I have not attempted this before and I await hearing on how it is received.Did this appear from thin air? Did it arrive in the mailbox like any letter? Did the letter ensure that you saw it by replacing itself with one of your most valuable, and often used objects-Your mustache comb I assume? I must say that the entire guild is awaiting to see more results of this new method of cross-world communication.
Since we departed to our separate worlds, I have decided to become more active in the academic wings of the Mages Guild. I have left my ambassadorial post to become more of a headmaster once more. With Helios conquered by the Guild, the world has simmered down in its warfare and does not require me to intervene as often as I had in the past. Someone such as you must have had your own progress as well, how does your spice garden fair? I do hope you don’t neglect your plants as you did when you impersonated being an alchemist.
Anyways…I do hope to hear from you, let me write down these ley lines so you can return the message. I hope its something easy for you to comprehend.

Anyone up for a change of pace and a new possible RP-ish group?
Ive been wanting to get a group started after talking to some people, mainly its going to be about world building crossovers like I was doing earlier. For example, you can make a post looking for people to be put into a senario from your headword. Like taking a non-cannon version of somebody else s character with their consent and drawing them out in traditional clothing, a scene, or maybe even as a monster from your own world.
I’m also thinking about opening up a forum , or somthing of the sort to start up some BS RPs of people interested in character crossovers. This doesn’t have to be one world, just hypothetical scenarios. All genres should be acceptable, sci-fi, fantasy, modern…etc. I mean even if you have a world consisting of anthros you can draw those versions of them from having a human character ref!
Anyways, if you are interested, you can comment saying what kind of genere your headworld is (or you can just throw characters in) and if you have experience leading forums or DA groups. input is always nice.
Also I want their to be challenges like in Heth, and Im even veering towards…maybe a fanart or fan character section as well?

SIGNE because Signe.
Signe used to be Shia Luciel, and she was first created one day at summer camp when I decided to make and anime OC of me and all my friends. At the time I sort of figured myself to be a fire elemental person so I made Shia (signe). There was a friend for each of the other elements and they were people I only got to see very briefly each year. Originally they were all also dragons that looked like Haku from Spirited away, only with colors of their elements. In their ‘human form’ they had pointy ears and furry tails. Shia (Signe) was kind of a goth back then (as was I) so she wore trench coats and black clothes.
She evolved into a traveling rhonin for a while, a foreigner from a norse inspired land who came to a country very much like feudal Japan. I still was not over the anime stage yet, but she still kept the darker styled clothing and I made her fully human. She was used in a naruto RP for a while that eventually turned into its own thing.
This was her at the time
Then finally, as Heth came around and I wanted to use the character again, I revamped her to who she is now. Its a bit bit different, but you can see the original influences now.

things may be slow for a little while
I’m working in somthing big for the Hetherev side of my story. After this I am going to get back to those environment practices that includes other people’s characters. If you have not submitted a character for me to use you still can, it doesn’t have to be just one either. For more info and things to put in you reference note, got to the ‘Activities for followers’ link on the front page of this blog.
In the meantime is there anything else you want to see, know or maybe ask my characters?

Solestella: Signe
This is actual Solestella story- prior to leaving the Hall of Volsung in Vauld where Signe claims to make herself known that she is the King’s daughter. The king does not take this as a serious claim at first and tell her to leave- so Signe vanishes into the wilderness while Cunae stays behind to speak to Volsung alone.
